In the movie, Donald Duck is portrayed as a grumpy and cynical character who is determined to avoid the holiday cheer. He refuses to decorate his home or participate in any festive activities, much to the disappointment of his friends, including Daisy Duck and Huey, Dewey, and Louie. Meanwhile, Mickey and Pluto are excitedly preparing for Christmas and eagerly await the arrival of Santa Claus.
As the story progresses, Donald's attitude towards Christmas begins to soften when he receives a visit from the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future. Through their guidance, he realizes the error of his ways and learns to appreciate the true meaning of Christmas.
Meanwhile, Mickey and Pluto's holiday plans are derailed when they encounter a friendly group of mischievous elves who cause chaos and mischief in their home.
