In the movie, Mickey, Donald and Goofy are lowly janitors working at the palace where the queen resides. They daydream of being heroes and serving the queen, but their dreams seem impossible until they stumble upon an opportunity to join the Musketeers. Despite their lack of training, they are taken under the wings of Athos, Porthos and Aramis, the three legendary Musketeers.
However, their dreams are quickly dashed when they discover that they are not actually official Musketeers, but rather just caretakers for the queen. Disappointed but determined, they pledge to protect the queen from the schemes of the villainous Pete, who plans to overthrow her and take the throne for himself.
Throughout the movie, the trio of friends encounter various obstacles and challenges as they work to keep the queen safe. Along the way, they sing songs based on famous classical melodies such as "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" and "Ride of the Valkyries."
Despite their comedic mishaps, Mickey, Donald and Goofy prove their bravery and dedication to the queen, ultimately defeating Pete and saving the day. In the end, they are rewarded for their heroism and officially join the ranks of the Musketeers.
