The film follows the story of Arletty, a young woman who travels to a remote and eerie California town to find her missing father. She arrives in the small town and discovers that the entire place is being ruled by a mysterious and sinister cult who worship a strange and ancient god.
Strange occurrences begin to unfold as Arletty tries to uncover the truth about her father's disappearance. She meets a group of people who are also caught up in the cult's sinister activities, including Thom, a man who has lost his memories; Laura, a writer who is researching the town's history; and Joseph, a local shopkeeper who is strangely knowledgeable about the cult's activities.
As the group delves deeper into the town's dark past, they discover that the cult has been resurrecting the dead and that they plan to sacrifice a chosen victim to their dark god. Arletty and her newfound friends must race to stop the cult before it's too late, and the town falls victim to the wrath of the undead.
