In the movie, Messengers 2: The Scarecrow, John Rollins is a struggling farmer who is facing several challenges in his life. His financial situation is dire, and he is unable to provide for his family due to the low yield of his crops. He is also facing marital problems, as his wife Mary is unhappy with their life and is seeking solace in the arms of her friend Tommy.
One day, while searching for a way to save his farm, John discovers a hidden compartment in his barn that contains a creepy scarecrow. Despite his son Michael's warning to destroy it, John is persuaded by his neighbor Jude to put the scarecrow in the cornfield. After this, strange things start happening on the farm.
The crows that were destroying John's crops suddenly die, and the water pump that was not working starts to irrigate the land again. However, John soon realizes that something sinister is at work. He experiences hallucinations, and his wife and son also start to sense a malevolent presence on the farm.
As the story progresses, it becomes clear that the scarecrow is possessed by an evil spirit that is determined to destroy John's family. John must figure out a way to get rid of the scarecrow before it's too late. The movie is a thriller that keeps the audience on the edge of their seats with its suspenseful plot and creepy atmosphere.
