In Merry Madagascar, Alex the lion is excited about celebrating his first Christmas in the Central Park Zoo with his best friends Marty the zebra, Gloria the hippopotamus, and Melman the giraffe. However, things take an unexpected turn when Santa and his sleigh crash-land onto the island of Madagascar, leaving him and his reindeer stranded.
As the four friends try to help Santa fix his sleigh and get back on track to deliver presents around the world, they come across a group of mischievous penguins who have their own plans for Christmas. Together, they team up to save Christmas and bring joy and cheer to everyone around them.
