Merrill's Marauders was a 1962 American war film based on the true story of the 5307th Composite Unit (Provisional), also known as the "Merrill's Marauders". The film was directed by Samuel Fuller and starred Jeff Chandler as Frank D. Merrill, Ty Hardin as Lt. Stock, and Peter Brown as Sgt. Kolowicz.
The story takes place during World War II in 1944 when General Joseph Stilwell (played by Andrew Duggan) orders a secret operation behind Japanese lines in Burma to cut off their communication and supply lines.
