Men at Work is a 1990 comedy film directed by Emilio Estevez and starring Estevez and Charlie Sheen as two garbage collectors named Carl and James. One day while they are out on their route, they discover a body in a trash can and realize that it is a city councilman.

Fearful that they will be blamed for the murder, Carl and James decide to hide the body and investigate the crime themselves. They enlist the help of their supervisor, Louis, played by Keith David, who is initially reluctant to get involved but eventually agrees to help them.

As the trio begins to dig deeper into the case, they encounter a number of suspects, including the councilman's business partner and a corrupt police detective. They also have to contend with a pair of bumbling detectives who are trying to solve the crime themselves.

As the investigation continues, Carl and James begin to suspect that Louis may have something to do with the murder. They confront him, but he denies any involvement and ultimately helps them solve the case.

In the end, the killers are brought to justice and Carl and James are hailed as heroes. The film also features appearances by Leslie Hope, Dean Cameron, and John Getz.
