Noelle Taylor (played by Christina Milian) is a successful real estate agent in New York City. She is surprised to inherit her late mother's house in her hometown, after her mother's sudden death. Noelle was raised by her mother, who was known in town as the "Queen of Christmas" because of her elaborate and beautiful Christmas decorations.
When Noelle arrives at her childhood home, she meets Dave (played by Mark Taylor), who her mother had hired to decorate the house for the Christmas season. Noelle is initially skeptical of Dave's abilities, but after seeing some of his past work, she agrees to let him continue the tradition of decorating her mother's house.
As Dave begins the decorating process, Noelle slowly starts to let her guard down and embrace the Christmas spirit that her mother loved so much. She starts reconnecting with old friends and neighbors, including her childhood best friend, Thomas (played by Jaime M. Callica).
