In Megamind: The Button of Doom, Megamind and Minion have decided to turn over a new leaf and become the defenders of Metro City. To start their new careers, they are selling off the gadgets and weapons from their old villainous lair.
However, during the sale, one of the buttons they are selling turns out to be a powerful device that unleashes a behemoth robot called MEGA-MEGAmind. This giant robot starts wreaking havoc and causing destruction all over the city.
To stop the robot, Megamind and Minion must use their old tricks and team up with their former rival, Metro Man. Together, they must find a way to stop the menacing robot and save the city from destruction.
Throughout the movie, Megamind and Minion also struggle with their new roles as heroes, as they try to adjust to their new lives and figure out what it truly means to be a hero. Ultimately, they learn to embrace their strengths and use them to protect the city they have come to love.
