Megalodon Rising is a science-fiction action movie that takes place in the present day, where a group of scientists discovers the existence of a prehistoric giant shark, the Megalodon, that has survived in the depths of the ocean. When the massive creature starts attacking modern ships and submarines, the military mobilizes an armada of high-tech warships to stop it.
Their efforts prove to be futile as the Megalodon easily overpowers the modern weaponry and continues its rampage. Desperate to find a way to stop the shark, the scientists team up with a group of rogue deep-sea divers who have been tracking the creature for years.
Together, they devise a plan to lure the Megalodon into a trap using a fake decoy submarine. The plan works, but not without a high-stakes battle, and the Megalodon ultimately meets its demise.
