Meet Wally Sparks is a 1997 comedy film directed and co-written by Peter Baldwin. The film stars Rodney Dangerfield as Wally Sparks, a trashy and controversial talk show host who is struggling in the ratings. In an effort to boost his show's popularity, Wally sets out to investigate a sex scandal involving the governor of Georgia.

Despite being warned by his producer Sandy Gallo (Debi Mazar) not to pursue the story, Wally presses on and manages to sneak into the governor's mansion posing as a pizza delivery man. Once inside, he discovers that the governor (David Ogden Stiers) is having an affair with a young woman named Sandy (Cindy Williams). Wally manages to capture the scandal on hidden camera and airs it on his show, but the governor denies the allegations and threatens to sue.

As Wally's popularity grows, he begins to receive death threats and his personal life begins to suffer. Meanwhile, Sandy tries to clear her name and prove that she was coerced into the affair by the governor's chief of staff (Burt Reynolds). Eventually, Wally is forced to choose between his career and his conscience.

Meet Wally Sparks is a raunchy and irreverent comedy that pokes fun at the world of tabloid journalism. Dangerfield delivers his trademark one-liners and sarcastic wit, and the film features cameos from a number of celebrities including Tony Danza, Roseanne Barr, and Gilbert Gottfried. While the movie received mixed reviews from critics, it remains a cult classic for fans of Rodney Dangerfield's brand of humor.
