Meet the Spartans is a comedy parody film that satirizes the 2006 film 300, as well as many other films including Transformers, Ghost Rider, and Britney Spears. The film follows King Leonidas and his gang of 13 Spartans as they embark on a mission to stop Xerxes and his army of Persians from conquering Greece. Along the way, they encounter various celebrities and characters from pop culture, including Paris Hilton, Ugly Betty, and American Idol judges. The film features many slapstick gags, visual jokes, and crude humor. It was critically panned but became a box office success, grossing over $85 million worldwide.
