Meet Joe Black is a 1998 American romantic fantasy film directed by Martin Brest and starring Brad Pitt, Anthony Hopkins, and Claire Forlani. The film tells the story of Bill Parrish (Hopkins), a wealthy businessman who is visited by Death (Pitt) in the form of a young man named Joe Black. Death has come to take Parrish's soul, but offers him a proposition: allow him to live among the living for a few days in exchange for Parrish's continued existence.
