Meet Dave is a science fiction comedy movie directed by Brian Robbins and starring Eddie Murphy as the captain of a spaceship shaped like a human called Dave Ming Chang. The ship is crewed by a team of small, humanoid aliens from the planet Nil, who are on a mission to find a way to save their threatened planet. They come to Earth to retrieve a device that could help them.
