Maysville is a drama film set in the rural Appalachia region in 1929. The film centers around Teddy Rogers, a 13-year-old boy who lives in poverty with his family. One day, Teddy accidentally causes a tragic accident that leaves a young girl dead. He is wracked with guilt and remorse, but the townspeople refuse to forgive him.
Teddy's family is shunned and ostracized by the community, and he is forced to perform a penance to atone for his actions. As he struggles to come to terms with what he has done, Teddy is haunted by the girl's spirit and hunted by the girl's vengeful brother, who seeks revenge for his sister's death.
