Max is a poignant family drama film that centers around a military dog named Max who returns from service in Afghanistan after his handler, Kyle Wincott, is killed in action. The traumatized canine is adopted by Kyle's grieving family, including his younger brother Justin, a rebellious teen struggling to adjust to his brother's death.
