The movie Marvel One-Shot: All Hail the King follows the story of a documentary filmmaker who is given exclusive access to Trevor Slattery, the actor who played the Mandarin in Iron Man 3. Slattery is now serving time in Seagate Prison, and the documentary filmmaker wants to explore his backstory and motivation behind becoming the infamous villain.
As the filmmaker interviews Slattery, he starts to uncover a conspiracy surrounding the Mandarin and the Ten Rings organization. It becomes clear that Slattery was just a pawn in a much larger scheme, and the real Mandarin is still out there. The documentary filmmaker becomes obsessed with finding the true Mandarin and proving Slattery's innocence.
But their investigation is cut short when a group of Ten Rings members, led by the real Mandarin, come to Seagate Prison to take revenge on Slattery for falsifying their leader's identity. In the midst of chaos, the documentary filmmaker and Slattery manage to escape and go on the run.
