In the Marvel One-Shot, Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) is en route to New Mexico to assist in the investigation of Thor's hammer, Mjolnir, when he stops at a gas station in the middle of nowhere. As he walks into the convenience store to get some snacks and a disposable camera, he suddenly finds himself caught up in a robbery taking place.
Ignoring the robbers' demands and revealing his SHIELD badge, Coulson proceeds to disarm and subdue the criminals with some impressive hand-to-hand combat skills. He even manages to give a flustered store clerk some tips on how to deal with a robbery in the future.
After the ordeal is over and Coulson goes back to his car, he hears about Thor's hammer being discovered in New Mexico over the radio. A satisfied Coulson simply smiles to himself and drives off towards his next mission.
The Marvel One-Shot was released as a bonus feature on the Blu-Ray and DVD release of Thor, bridging the gap between the films Iron Man 2 and Thor. It showcases Coulson's resourcefulness and his dedication to protecting ordinary people even outside of his official duties as an agent of SHIELD.
