Riley is a successful marketing executive in New York City, but unfortunately loses her job due to budget cuts. Feeling lost and hopeless, she finds solace in her longtime friend Nate and they end up getting drunk and accidentally getting married. Despite their initial shock and confusion, they decide to go through with it and make the best of their situation.
Nate is from a small town in Tennessee, and asks Riley to help him save his family's struggling business. They travel to his hometown and start working together to revitalize the business, but they soon realize that they have to keep their marriage a secret as it could jeopardize their chances at success.
