Margin Call is a 2011 American drama thriller film directed by J.C. Chandor. The movie is set in the year 2008 after the collapse of Lehman Brothers. The story takes place over a 24-hour period at an investment bank where key employees work to save the firm from being destroyed by the impending financial crisis.
The central character of the movie is a junior risk analyst named Peter Sullivan, played by Zachary Quinto.
