Manou the Swift is an animated adventure movie that follows the life of a little swift who is raised by a family of seagulls on an idyllic island. Manou, who believes he is a seagull, follows their way of life by learning how to fly, fish, and hunt just like the seagulls do.
However, as Manou grows up, he realizes that he is different from his adopted family and can never be a seagull. Disillusioned and heartbroken, he decides to leave his home in search of his true identity.
While exploring the world outside the island, Manou comes across other swifts who teach him about his species and the unique skills they possess. He learns that swifts are the fastest and most agile birds in the world and that they have important roles in maintaining balance in nature.
As Manou gets to know his own kind, he discovers that a great danger is coming, threatening both the swifts and the seagulls. He sets out to unite the two groups and use his knowledge and skills to protect them from harm.
As danger looms, Manou becomes the hero of the day, proving that every bird - no matter how different - has a special role to play in the natural world.
