The movie Manifest Evil follows the story of Matthew, a young man who has been possessed by a demon since he was a child. Growing up with this dark secret, he learns to control the demon through self-mutilation. Despite this, Matthew remains haunted by his worst fears and anxieties throughout his life.
After joining the United States Marine Corps, Matthew's life takes a turn for the worse when he meets two new recruits who are members of the occult. Fascinated by Matthew's demon possession, they cast a spell to manifest his worst fears, causing his mental state to rapidly deteriorate.
As the demon fully takes over, Matthew goes on a violent rampage, killing anyone who gets in his way. Pursued by his fellow Marines and law enforcement, Matthew is forced to confront his inner demons and the twisted reality he has been living in.
