Mandao Returns is a science-fiction comedy film that follows the adventures of Jay Mandao, a man with the unique ability to astral project through time and space. In the film, Jay decides to use his powers to connect with his deceased father, but instead, ends up making contact with the ghost of Aura Garcia, a B-movie star who died under mysterious circumstances.
Aura enlists the help of Jay and his friends, Jackson, Andy, and Fer, to travel back in time to prevent her death from occurring. However, their attempt to change the past results in unintended consequences, throwing the group into a vortex of conspiracies, cults, and death.
As they navigate through time, the gang find themselves crossing paths with a variety of bizarre and eccentric characters, including a cult leader with a plan to save the world, a time-traveling zombie, and a ghostly assassin hired to kill Aura.
