Manborg is a sci-fi action-comedy film directed by Steven Kostanski, and it follows the story of a young soldier who is transformed into a cyborg, Manborg after he is killed by the demonic forces of Count Draculon. The movie is set in a dystopian future where Earth has been overrun by demons after Draculon opened a door to hell.
Manborg, who reawakens in the future as a half-man, half-machine, is now part of a group of rebels fighting against Draculon's demonic army. The group includes a ninja warrior named #1 Man, a strategist named Justice, and a sultry fighter named Mina.
Together, they must defeat Draculon and take back the planet from his evil grip. However, Draculon has an army of undead soldiers and demons at his disposal, making it an almost impossible task. Manborg has to use all his special abilities and futuristic weapons to overcome the obstacles in his way and protect the rebels.
The movie is an homage to the low-budget sci-fi films of the 1980s, and it's full of humorous, over-the-top action sequences that pay tribute to classic action movies. With its campy style and quirky characters, Manborg has become a cult classic and a favorite among fans of independent films.
