Comedy,Drama,Romance,Thriller  United States of America

Man of the Year is a 2006 political satire/comedy film directed by Barry Levinson and starring Robin Williams as Tom Dobbs, the host of a talk show who decides to run for president as an independent candidate. During his campaign, Dobbs gains popularity for his irreverent humor and his promise to expose corruption in Washington. As the campaign progresses, Dobbs begins to take his bid for the presidency more seriously.

In a stunning twist, Dobbs actually wins the election, defeating both the Democratic and Republican candidates. However, a software engineer named Eleanor Green (played by Laura Linney) discovers a glitch in the voting software that may have contributed to Dobbs' victory. She tries to alert the authorities, but is met with resistance and skepticism from those in power who are unwilling to admit any potential flaws in the system.

Dobbs, unaware of the possibility of a glitch, is inaugurated as the new president of the United States. However, as he begins to uncover the corruption that exists within the government, he starts to doubt his own abilities and the legitimacy of his election.

Meanwhile, Green continues her investigation and eventually gains the attention of Dobbs' closest advisors. Together, they attempt to uncover the truth behind the election and restore faith in the democratic process.

Man of the Year is a comedic and thought-provoking film that questions the integrity of the American political system and the power of technology in shaping our democracy. It highlights the importance of transparency and accountability in government, and the role of the media and the public in holding those in power accountable.
