Malatesta’s Carnival of Blood is a 1973 horror film directed by Christopher Speeth. The movie follows the Norris family, consisting of Vena, her parents, and her younger brother, who are all hired to work at a traveling carnival run by the mysterious Mr. Malatesta.

As they settle in, they realize that there is something strange going on with the carnival. The rides are decrepit and dangerous, the employees are a little too enthusiastic, and there seem to be no paying customers. Vena's brother had disappeared while visiting the carnival previously, and she begins to investigate what happened to him.

The Norris family soon discovers that the carnival is actually a cover for a group of vampires, who draw in unsuspecting visitors to feed on their blood. The carnival workers are all in on the scheme, and they lure in teenagers to play games and win prizes, only to use them as a food source for the vampires.

As the family tries to uncover the truth and save themselves, they are caught up in a wild and bloody carnival of horrors. With a dark and eerie atmosphere and surreal visuals, Malatesta’s Carnival of Blood is a unique and unsettling horror film that has become a cult classic in the genre.
