In Major League II, the Cleveland Indians start the new season with high hopes after narrowly missing out on the World Series the previous year. However, they face a new challenge when their former owner Rachel Phelps buys back the team with plans to move them to Miami.
Phelps hires a new manager, a former pitcher named Roger Dorn, who is determined to turn the team around and make them competitive again. He brings in new players and implements strict training regimes, but struggles to gain the respect of some of the team's more established players.
Meanwhile, the team's star player, wild pitcher Ricky Vaughn, is struggling with a crisis of confidence after being abandoned by his girlfriend and losing his fastball. He enlists the help of a guru named "Jobu" to help him regain his mojo.
As the season progresses, the Indians struggle to find their form and face stiff competition from their division rivals. But with Dorn's leadership and Vaughn's newfound focus, they start to come together as a team and mount a comeback in the race for the playoffs.
In the climactic final game of the season, the Indians face off against their arch-rivals, the Chicago White Sox, with a trip to the playoffs on the line. In a thrilling game of twists and turns, the Indians ultimately emerge victorious, securing their place in the postseason and setting up a potential rematch with their ALCS foes from the previous year.
Major League II is a hilarious and heartwarming sequel to the original Major League, featuring all of the same beloved characters and plenty of new laughs along the way.
