Major League: Back to the Minors is a sports comedy movie directed by John Warren and released in 1998. It is the third film in the Major League film series. The movie follows Gus Cantrell, a former MLB player who now works as a radio DJ and part-time coach. However, his life changes when he receives a job offer from Roger Dorn to manage the Twins' Triple-A affiliate, the Buzz.

Cantrell reluctantly accepts the job, but soon realizes that the Buzz is one of the worst performing teams in the league. He decides to bring a few of his old friends from the minor leagues to help out the team, including his former love interest Maggie Reynolds. However, Dorn has a hidden agenda - he wants to use the Buzz to humiliate the Twins' star player, Billy "Downtown" Anderson, who has an ego problem and frequently clashes with Dorn.

As Cantrell tries to turn the Buzz into a winning team, he must also deal with rival coaches, scheming players, and his own personal demons. Along the way, he learns some valuable lessons about teamwork and friendship, and discovers that winning isn't everything.

The movie features an all-star cast, including Scott Bakula as Gus Cantrell, Corbin Bernsen as Roger Dorn, Ted McGinley as Leonard Huff, and Dennis Haysbert as Pedro Cerrano. While it didn't receive critical acclaim, Major League: Back to the Minors remains a beloved cult classic for fans of sports comedies.
