Madison Baker, a 16-year-old high school student, is leaving her small town to move to the city with her family. She has been secretly in love with her classmate, Jake, but has been too shy to confess her feelings.
On her last night in town, Madison decides to throw caution to the wind and sneak out with her two best friends, Lexi and Ethan, to make her feelings known to Jake. Lexi is the bold and adventurous one, while Ethan is the supportive and practical one.
As they make their way to Jake's house, they encounter various obstacles and setbacks, including getting lost and nearly getting caught by Madison's parents. Along the way, Madison begins to question her feelings and wonders if she should truly confess them to Jake.
