Mayhem in the Millionaire's Mansion: Uninvited Chaos Unleashed

Comedy  United States of America

MadHouse is a 1990 comedy film directed by Tom Ropelewski and produced by Robert Simonds. The movie stars John Larroquette and Kirstie Alley as Mark and Jessie Bannister, a successful yuppie couple who live in a luxurious villa.

At the beginning of the movie, Mark is at the height of his career as a TV news anchor, and Jessie is busy preparing for a dinner party with their friends. However, things take a turn for the worse when Mark's mentally unstable brother, Fred (played by John Diehl), shows up uninvited.

Fred is accompanied by his girlfriend and a group of friends who are loud, obnoxious, and have no sense of boundaries. They proceed to invade the Bannister's home, turning it into a madhouse.

As the night wears on, the uninvited guests become more and more unruly, destroying the Bannister's belongings and causing chaos. Meanwhile, Mark and Jessie try to keep up appearances in front of their guests upstairs, while dealing with the chaos downstairs.

The situation comes to a head when Fred's ex-girlfriend shows up, and he becomes convinced that she is trying to kill him. The party-goers flee, leaving the Bannisters to deal with the aftermath.

In the end, Mark and Jessie are left to pick up the pieces of their ruined home, and Mark's career takes a hit as a result of the events of the night. However, they come to realize that the crazy events of the night brought them closer together and showed them what is really important in life.

Overall, MadHouse is a funny and lighthearted comedy that pokes fun at the excesses of the yuppie lifestyle of the 90s, and showcases the importance of family and love in the face of chaos.
