The two friends, Bobby and Ricky, are played by Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughn. Bobby is trying to get his life back on track after a stint in prison, while Ricky is a smooth-talking wannabe gangster who sees the money-laundering scheme as an opportunity to move up in the criminal world.
The scheme involves taking a suitcase full of cash from New York to Los Angeles, where it will be laundered through a strip club owned by Max, played by Peter Falk. Along the way, the two friends get into various scrapes and run-ins with other criminals, including a memorable encounter with a group of Russian gangsters.
Despite all the setbacks, Bobby and Ricky eventually make it to Los Angeles and successfully complete the money-laundering scheme. However, they soon realize that they've been double-crossed by Max and the other criminals involved, and they must come up with a plan to get their revenge and make things right.
Made is a darkly funny and entertaining crime comedy with strong performances from its lead actors. It was directed by Jon Favreau and released in 2001.
