Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome is a 1985 dystopian action film directed by George Miller and George Ogilvie. The film is a sequel to the previous Mad Max films and stars Mel Gibson as the protagonist, Max Rockatansky.
The movie takes place several years after the events of the previous film, Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior. Max finds himself in a decadent oasis called Bartertown, which is a society that is fueled by a combination of advanced technology and brutal violence. The city is ruled by Aunty Entity, played by Tina Turner, who enlists Max to help settle a dispute with a rival group known as the "Underworld."

When Max is exiled from Bartertown, he finds himself taking on the role of protector and leader to the group of kids, who are searching for a rumored "Promised Land" known as Tomorrow-Morrow Land.
Together, Max and the children embark on a perilous journey across the desert, facing numerous challenges and obstacles along the way. The film's climax takes place in a massive airplane graveyard, where Aunty Entity and her army pursue Max and his band of children, leading to an explosive final battle.
