Mack & Rita is a heartwarming comedy-drama that follows the story of Mackenzie, a 30-year-old woman who enjoys partying and having fun. Mackenzie, known as Mack to her friends, decides to go on a solo trip to Palm Springs to celebrate her birthday and unwind after a long week at work.
Mack spends the weekend partying with her friends and strangers, drinking, and having the time of her life. However, things take a turn when she wakes up the morning after her birthday to find that she has transformed into a 70-year-old woman named Rita.
Confused and frightened, Mack tries to find a way back to her younger self but realizes that she is stuck in her older body. Despite the initial shock, Mack tries to adjust to her new life and learn more about the elderly community. Along the way, she meets a charming widower named Walter and forms a romantic connection with him.
As Mack explores her new life as Rita, she realizes that aging is not all bad and that every stage of life has its ups and downs. Through her experience, she learns to embrace her new reality and appreciate the people and moments that truly matter.
