Maari 2 is a Tamil-language action comedy film directed by Balaji Mohan and produced by Dhanush under his production banner Wunderbar Films. The film stars Dhanush, Sai Pallavi, Tovino Thomas, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Krishna Kulasekaran in prominent roles.
The movie follows the life of Maari, a local don in Chennai, who is revered and feared by the people in his area.
