The movie Lukan Michi is a rom-com that is set in a typical Punjabi rural backdrop. Preet Harpal plays the role of a young man named Lucky, who falls in love with Mandy Takhar’s character, named Preeto. Upon expressing his feelings, Lucky receives a positive response from Preeto, but their happiness is short-lived.
As per the tradition of the family, Lucky’s elder brother, Guggu Gill, cannot get married until his rival Yograj Singh’s son gets married. However, the issue is that Yograj Singh’s son is not interested in marriage, and this becomes a major problem for both families.
To overcome this hurdle and marry Preeto, Lucky comes up with a twisted tale. He creates the imaginary character of Lukan Michi, who is a matchmaker and can make any couple fall in love. With the help of his friends, Lucky stages a drama where Lukan Michi comes to the village and starts working towards finding a match for Yograj Singh’s son.
The story takes a hilarious turn when Lukan Michi sets up a series of hilarious sitiations to rop in Yograj Singh’s son and makes him fall in love with Guggu Gill’s daughter. In the end, all is well, everyone is happy, and Lucky gets to marry the love of his life, Preeto.
