Lucky Stars Go Places follows the misadventures of a group of bumbling Hong Kong police officers, played by the Lucky Stars troupe, as they team up with the smooth and suave secret agent duo, played by Sam Hui and Karl Maka from the Aces Go Places series, to stop a group of criminals from stealing a valuable formula for a new energy source. Along the way, they encounter a multitude of obstacles, including a deadly ninja assassin and a lecherous private detective, as they race against time to save the day. The film is filled with slapstick humor, high-energy action sequences, and a catchy soundtrack featuring the hit song "I Want it All".
