Lucky Day is a crime thriller film that follows the story of Red, a safe-cracker who has just been released from prison. He returns home to his family consisting of his wife Chloe, daughter Beatrice, and sister Lisa. Red wants to start a new life with Chloe and their daughter, but his past catches up with him quickly.
Luc, a ruthless hitman, is seeking revenge for the death of his brother, who was killed by Red during a robbery gone wrong several years ago. Luc is determined to make Red pay, and he begins to track him down. Red and his family are unaware of Luc's pursuit until it becomes too late.
Luc launches an attack on Red's family, but they are able to overpower him. However, Luc escapes and continues his hunt for Red. Meanwhile, the police are on Red's tail as well, suspecting him of another robbery.
Red is forced to make some tough decisions to protect his family and his freedom. He attempts to negotiate with Luc, but it is clear that Luc will not make it easy for him. Red must pull out all the stops to protect his loved ones and escape the grip of Luc and the police.
