Loving Adults is a Danish drama film directed by Ole Christian Madsen. The film stars Trine Dyrholm as Leonora, a middle-aged woman who is married to Christian, played by Ulrich Thomsen. The couple has a teenage son, Elias, who has just recovered from a serious illness, and they appear to have a perfect life. However, while attending a party at her husband's work, Leonora sees Christian with Xenia, a younger architect. She begins to fear that Christian might leave her for Xenia.

Desperate to keep her marriage intact, Leonora decides to take action and prevent Christian from leaving her. She enlists the help of her friend, Lærke, played by Stine Stengade, who suggests that they form a secret society of women who refuse to be the "women left behind" by their husbands. Together, they come up with a plan to keep their marriages intact and maintain their power over their husbands.

However, as Leonora becomes more and more obsessed with preventing Christian from leaving her, she begins to spiral out of control. She starts drinking heavily and becomes increasingly paranoid. Meanwhile, Christian becomes increasingly distant and preoccupied with his work, and Xenia becomes a more and more prominent figure in Leonora's life.

As the tension between Leonora and Christian builds, the film explores themes of marriage, identity, and power. Loving Adults is a nuanced and complex drama that offers a gripping look at the complexities of modern relationships.
