Love You To Death is a 2019 made-for-television movie based on the true story of a mother and daughter from Nevada who were involved in a shocking murder case. The movie stars Marcia Gay Harden as Dee Dee Blanchard, a protective and controlling mother who suffers from Munchausen syndrome by proxy. Her daughter, Gypsy Blanchard, is played by Emily Skeggs.

Dee Dee raises Gypsy as a sickly child, manipulating doctors and family members into believing the girl has severe health problems. However, as Gypsy grows older and becomes more independent, she begins to suspect that her mother's behavior is not entirely genuine. She secretly creates an online dating profile and falls in love with Nick Godejohn (played by Tate Donovan), a man with whom she plans to run away from her mother.

When Dee Dee catches wind of Gypsy's plans, she tries to sabotage the relationship and maintain her control over her daughter. However, the situation turns violent, and the story ends in a brutal murder that shocks the small community where they live.

Love You To Death is a harrowing story that explores the dangerous consequences of manipulative relationships and the strain that mental illness can put on families. The movie was directed by Alex Kalymnios and was aired on Lifetime in January 2019.
