Jenny is a teenage girl who works at a Caribbean resort where her rock and roll idol, Jason Masters, is staying. She fantasizes about being with him and follows him everywhere he goes. When Jason decides to go on a day trip on a yacht with his girlfriend and a few other guests, Jenny sneaks on board without their knowledge.
During the trip, a storm hits and the yacht capsizes, leaving everyone stranded on a deserted island. Jenny sees this as the perfect opportunity to spend time alone with Jason and pretends to have also been marooned on the island, along with a few other resort staff.
As they try to survive on the island, Jenny's plan to keep her secret from Jason becomes increasingly difficult. She must dodge his girlfriend and keep up appearances while also trying to win his affection.
As their time on the island goes on, Jenny realizes that she may have been wrong about her feelings for Jason and begins to fall for another castaway on the island. Eventually, they are rescued and Jenny must navigate her newfound feelings for two guys while also dealing with the consequences of her deception.
