Brittany is a newly-divorced woman who is looking to move on after her failed marriage. She decides to have a “Divorce Party Weekend” with her best friends, during which she meets the charming and seemingly perfect Jake. He's attentive, funny, and everything she's looking for in a man. A few days later, she runs into him at a coffee house, and they start a whirlwind romance.
Things start getting complicated when Austin, Brittany's ex-husband, meets Jake and immediately gets a bad feeling about him. He warns Brittany, but she disregards it, thinking that he's just being jealous. She's convinced that Jake is the one for her, and nothing can come between them.
