Ho Kam-An (played by Stephen Chow) is a lazy and unmotivated dim-sum delivery boy who falls head over heels for Lily (played by Christy Chung), a beautiful and talented judo student. However, Lily is already in a relationship with a wealthy and arrogant businessman named Jack (played by Billy Chow).
After being humiliated by Jack, Ho Kam-An decides to take matters into his own hands and seeks out an aging kung-fu master, who teaches him a unique and unorthodox style of kung fu that involves imitating animals and using unusual movements. The master (played by Ng Man-Tat) is initially reluctant to teach Ho Kam-An, but eventually sees potential in him.
With his new skills, Ho Kam-An decides to take on Jack and prove himself as a worthy competitor for Lily's affection. He dons a Garfield costume and fights Jack in a hilarious and over-the-top battle.
However, Ho Kam-An's victory is short-lived as the master's former foe, a ruthless and skilled fighter named Tiger (played by Ken Lo), challenges him to a fight to the death. Ho Kam-An must use all of his newfound skills and determination to take down Tiger and emerge victorious.
