Love Is the Perfect Crime is a thriller movie that revolves around the life of Marc, a professor of literature, who is living a double life. In the day time, Marc is a dedicated professor who is much popular among his students, and during the night, he is a womanizer who indulges in one love affair after another with his female students.
Marc's happy-go-lucky life takes a dark turn when one of his students, Barbara, suddenly disappears. Marc is unable to come out of his despair, and things become worse when he gets to know that Barbara's mother, Anna, is in town and wants to find out more about her daughter's whereabouts.
Although Marc is initially hesitant to meet Anna, he agrees to help her in finding Barbara, and the two embark on a dangerous journey to unravel the mystery behind her disappearance. Along the way, Marc realizes that he has been foolish and selfish in his life choices and must face the consequences of his actions.
