Maggie Grant is the owner and pilot of Grant Air Services, a small family-run airline based in Montana. Facing financial difficulties, Maggie is determined to do whatever it takes to keep the business going, even if it means taking on risky flights and cutting corners. However, her plans are upended when corporate sends in Jack Williams to assess the viability of the airline. Jack is a straight-laced, by-the-book businessman who has no patience for Maggie's rebellious attitude and fly-by-the-seat-of-her-pants approach.
Despite their initial animosity towards each other, Maggie and Jack find themselves drawn to each other as they work together on a project to revitalize the struggling airline.
