Lorelei is a successful lawyer living in Miami who receives news that her estranged great uncle has passed away and left her a sailboat in the Caribbean. She decides to take some time off work to go see the boat and potentially sell it. When she arrives, she meets Rob, a local boat mechanic and sailor who she hires to help her get the boat in sail-worthy condition.
Rob and Lorelei start working on the boat together and quickly discover they have a connection. As they spend more time together, they begin to open up about their past relationships and what they each want in the future. Though they have very different lifestyles and backgrounds, they find themselves drawn to each other.
As they start sailing the boat back to Miami, they navigate rough waters, storms, and unexpected challenges. Despite these obstacles, they work together to keep the boat afloat and their relationship blossoms.
However, when they arrive in Miami, Lorelei must choose between selling the boat and returning to her old life or taking a chance on a new life with Rob. They both realize that they have something special and ultimately decide to give their relationship a chance.
