Louder Than Words is a 2013 drama film directed by Anthony Fabian and inspired by true events. Following the tragic death of their daughter Maria from a rare form of cardio vascular disease, John and Brenda Fareri (David Duchovny and Hope Davis) struggle to deal with their grief. Determined not to let their loss be in vain, John and Brenda decide to build a pediatric hospital dedicated to Maria's memory, in the hope of saving other children's lives.
Despite facing numerous obstacles, including skepticism from the medical community and financial difficulties, the Fareris persevere in their mission. With the help of renowned architect Bruce Komiske (Timothy Hutton), they create a state-of-the-art medical facility that puts the needs of patients and their families first. They hire top medical staff, including Dr. Janeway (Ben Rosenfield) and Nurse Susan Taylor (Adelaide Kane), who share their commitment to holistic healing.
As the hospital takes shape, the Fareris find themselves drawn closer to the families of their young patients. They realize that healing does not just involve medical treatment, but also emotional and psychological support.
