Lost Place is a German horror movie that follows a group of teenagers who embark on a GPS treasure hunt in the Palatinate forest. Along the way, they stumble upon an old US military radio tower station that had been abandoned since the days of the Cold War. The station had been a part of a secret military program that produced horrific side effects, leading to the government shutting it down.
However, the teenagers soon discover that the station has mysteriously been powered up again, with no explanation as to how or why. As they investigate further, they begin experiencing strange occurrences, including hallucinations, time lapses, and eerie noises.
As the teenagers delve deeper into the mystery, they realize that they have become trapped in a terrifying alternate reality created by the radio tower station. They must find a way to escape before they become victims of the station's deadly experiments.
The movie is directed by Thorsten Klein and stars François Goeske, Josefine Preuß, and Pit Bukowski. It was released in Germany in 2013 and has received mixed reviews from critics.
