LOST AND DELIRIOUS was released in 2001 and stars Piper Perabo as Pauline "Paulie" Oster, Jessica Paré as Victoria "Tori" Moller, and Mischa Barton as Mary "Mouse" Bradford. The film is based on the novel The Wives of Bath by Susan Swan.
The movie takes place at a prestigious all-girls boarding school, where Paulie and Tori become roommates and quickly fall in love. They begin a secret relationship, but when i is discovered by their classmates, they face backlash and ridicule. Despite this, their feelings for each other continue to deepen.
Meanwhile, Mouse, a shy and introverted newcomer to the school, becomes friends with Paulie and Tori and is drawn into their world. However, as Paulie becomes increasingly possessive of Tori and their relationship becomes more volatile, Mouse becomes caught in the middle and struggles to find her own place in the complicated dynamic.
The film explores themes of identity, sexuality, and the intense emotions of adolescence. It received mixed reviews upon release but has since gained a cult following.
