The struggling actress in Los Angeles Overnight is Priscilla Delgado, played by Arielle Brachfeld. She and her boyfriend, Ben (Azim Rizk), are barely making ends meet in Los Angeles, with Priscilla taking on small roles while dreaming of making it big.
One day, Priscilla gets a call from her long-lost father, who was a notorious criminal in the Los Angeles underworld. He informs her that he has passed away and left behind a valuable package that could help her financially. Desperate for money, Priscilla and Ben decide to steal the package, not realizing that it contains evidence that could incriminate some of the city's most dangerous criminals.
As they flee with the package, Priscilla and Ben are pursued by the criminals, including a corrupt cop, a mysterious hitman, and a psycho drug lord. Along the way, they are forced to use their acting skills to deceive and betray those they encounter.
The film is a neo-noir thriller that blends street-level action with dark humor, stylized cinematography, and a jazzy score. It also features a standout turn by veteran character actor Peter Bogdanovich as the dying father, who sets the events of the film in motion.
