Looker is a science fiction thriller film from 1981, written and directed by Michael Crichton. The film stars Albert Finney as Dr. Larry Roberts, a plastic surgeon who is sought out by a mysterious company called Digital Matrix to perform minor cosmetic procedures on their models to make them look perfect for their commercial work. Dr. Roberts is paid handsomely for his work and is happy with his new-found success.
However, things take a sinister turn when some of the models who have had work done by Dr. Roberts start to die under suspicious circumstances. He realizes that they are all connected to the Digital Matrix company and that there might be something shady going on.
As Dr. Roberts starts to investigate the matter, he discovers that Digital Matrix is using a cutting-edge technology called "Computer Generated Imagery" to create perfectly lifelike computer models of their models, which can then be used for advertising and other commercial purposes. This technology, however, has some dark and dangerous applications, which threaten to change the very fabric of society.
As the body count rises and the danger grows, Dr. Roberts finds himself caught up in a web of intrigue and deceit, as he tries to uncover the truth and stop Digital Matrix before it's too late. Looker is a fast-paced and thrilling movie, with a unique and exciting premise that still hold up today.
